In Memory of rita roe

In September 2022 Norfolk Potters' Guild & Studio lost a valued member of our Guild.  Rita Roe was a gifted Teacher and President.  She sat on many committees including our Bursary committee, Advertising, and wrote our By-Laws and Constitution.  Rita, along with Deirdre Chisholm, former director of Norfolk Arts Centre, ran Soup Art from 2009 to 2018.

It was Rita's wish that her pottery tools be sold, at a nominal fee, and the money raised be donated to the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  $410.00 was presented to Aurora, Mackenzie and Autum, pictured,  who all volunteer at the Humane Society.
